Born in Bali, built to close a gap
The Indonesia Health Network emerged from “Global Health in Transition: A Private Sector Dialogue on Architecting a New Future,” convened in Bali in October 2025. The gathering brought private-sector leaders, government officials, and members of the development community together to explore new models of public–private collaboration for building resilient health systems.
Indonesia is transforming its health system, and PATH is helping lead the way — uniting government, investors, and innovators to build the resilient ecosystem that lets vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics (VTD) actually save lives.
The gap the Network addresses
Indonesia has a vibrant and diverse health ecosystem — government, development partners, philanthropy, academia, the private sector, investors, and innovators — bringing deep technical expertise, implementation experience, innovation, and financing to the tools that protect health: vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics.
The Opportunity
Yet no platform today systematically connects a gap in that ecosystem to the partner best placed to close it, aligns partner efforts behind national priorities, or offers a consistent, trusted space for cross-sector learning.
The Role of IHN
The Indonesia Health Network closes that gap — a structured platform for strategic matchmaking that aligns partner expertise, innovation, and investment behind the government’s priorities for a resilient VTD ecosystem.

About the Indonesia Health Network
Inspired by Minister Budi Sadikin’s vision to transform Indonesia’s health ecosystem, the Indonesia Health Network (IHN) is a collaborative platform bringing together leaders, partners, investors, innovators, and institutions committed to strengthening Indonesia’s health system and advancing regional health security.
Its goal is clear: to support the Government of Indonesia in building and enabling a strong ecosystem for vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics (VTD) — because these tools save lives only when the system around them is resilient.
It exists to accelerate the health transformation agenda defined and led by the government — helping coordinate and connect partner expertise, innovation, and investment behind national priorities.
